Content Management

Through the use of Text Files and Slideshow Pro Director, all text and images can be edited and/or replaced.

Text Files: each block of content exists as a separate text file on the server, which can be updated with any text editor, and re-posted to the server for immediate display on the site automatically.

SlideshowPro: this Flash component is a very powerful and flexible gallery system, and when tied into SSP Director, enables anyone to add/edit images and albums, which can be used throughout the site, allowing someone with no Flash knowledge to have full control of the site imagery. Search Engine Optimization

For every page of a Flash web site, we create a simple Html text-only content page. These pages are indexed by Search Engines. We then add a few lines of code, which detect the presence of the Flash plugin, and load the Flash site if it is present. This allows search engine spiders to access the data in the HTML just as before, and allows us to provide a superior user experience if the user has Flash installed in their browser.

Another option is to build a fully laid out HTML site and replace images, buttons and banners with Flash movies or applications ( i.e Slideshow Pro for Photo or Video galleries).

On the horizon, Lycos, Yahoo and Google can now view Flash data and over the coming year (2008) we will see them indexing Flash sites.
